A Glimpse of Hope

Dear Reader,

I just recently found this song on YouTube and it speaks to me so well. It’s called “My God Can” by Katy Nichole.

It reminds me that God is the in the midst of my struggles. That I am not alone in any battles that I face.

Though I might not be able to part the waters, calm the storms, or make my giants fall. God can do these things, so I don’t need to be afraid. I can be confident that God is in control.

God heals those who are hurt, comfort every broken heart, and restore the homes of families who’ve been torn apart. Only He can do this.

Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through him who gives me strength.”

I can try as hard as I want to get my own home, have a job to pay all my bills, and be able to adopt. But without God as my center focus it won’t happen.

Still, I am human. I need to remind myself regularly that I can NOT do it by myself. Only God can make these things happen.
